Nantou Town Chamber of Commerce was established in 2005. In 2017, it merged with Nantou Town Federation of Industry and Commerce, adopting a management structure of “one team, two plates.” In 2018, it integrated the Nantou Branch of the Town Individual Private Owners Association, forming an organizational framework dedicated to “serving enterprises, collaborating with government, and giving back to society.” It is now collectively referred to as “Nantou Town Federation of Industry and Commerce (Chamber of Commerce) & Nantou Branch of Zhongshan Individual Private Owners Association.”
The current Chairman and President of the Fifth Nantou Town Federation of Industry and Commerce (Chamber of Commerce) and the Eighth Nantou Branch of the Individual Private Owners Association is Mr. Liang Huihua, Chairman of Zhongshan Taiyuan New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The organization comprises 6 Executive Vice Chairmen (Vice Presidents), 23 Vice Presidents, and 93 Council Members. With strong support from the Nantou Town Party Committee and Government, the Chamber's dedicated service premises span nearly 2,000 square meters, housing facilities including the Nantou Town Home Appliance Technology Exhibition Hall, Beautiful Town Living Room, Chamber Promenade, Honor Wall, Chamber University, Party Building Room, Mediation Room, Circuit Court, Rotating President's Office, Meeting Rooms, Enterprise Home, and Archives Room.
In November 2012, the Chamber established a Party Branch, gradually building a comprehensive “Party Building + Mass Organizations”system: a Non-Public Economic Prosecution Liaison Station in 2017, a Labor Union in 2018, a Committee for Caring for the Next Generation in 2021, and a Women's Federation in 2022. Currently, 47 member enterprises have their own Party organizations, with a total of 614 Party members among the staff of member enterprises. The Secretariat has 10 full-time staff members, nearly all of whom are Party members, making Party building a core driver of the Chamber's development.
The Nantou Town Chamber of Commerce currently has 338 member enterprises, along with 250 small and micro private enterprises and individual businesses. Its membership includes leading domestic enterprises in the home appliance and specialized sectors, such as TCL Air Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd., Homa Refrigerator, Guangdong Changhong, and Nox Bellcow Cosmetics. This composition strongly aligns with Nantou Town's industrial positioning as part of the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area World-Class Home Appliance Industrial Cluster (Zhongshan),” the “China Home Appliance Brand Base,” and the “National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (Home Appliances).”
Consistently adhering to the purpose of “serving enterprises, collaborating with government, and giving back to society,” and focusing on the “Two Healthies” (the healthy development of the non-public sector economy and the healthy growth of those involved in it), the Chamber implements a “1+5+N” development model. This model is guided by Party building and establishes five major service platforms:“Legal Services,” “Government Procurement Services,”“Technology Achievement Matchmaking,” “Economic Services,”and“Charity, Culture, and Public Welfare,”along with numerous N brand activities.
By the end of 2025, the Nantou Town Chamber achieved a remarkable “grand slam”of annual honors, securing municipal 5A, provincial excellence, and national excellence awards. First, it was once again rated as a “5A-Level Social Organization” by the Zhongshan Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau. This marks the Chamber's third consecutive receipt of this highest-level honor since 2015, successfully defending its title for a “three-peat.”Second, it was selected as an outstanding case study for the construction of “Four Good” Chambers of Commerce in Guangdong Province for 2025. Third, it was successfully selected as an outstanding case study for the national “Four Good” Chambers of Commerce initiative. As of December 2025, the Chamber has accumulated over 40 honors and awards at various levels, including National“Four Good” Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong Provincial“Four Good” Chamber of Commerce, and Zhongshan Municipal“5A”Social Organization.Among these are 11 national-level honors and 8 provincial-level honors.
In 2025, the mechanism exploring“full-chain dispute resolution + digital governance + industry collaboration” by the Nantou Town Chamber of Commerce was selected as a typical practice by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. 
On October 23, 2025, an on-site teaching and exchange activity for the mediation training program of the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce system was held at the Nantou Town Chamber of Commerce. During the event, the Second People's Court of Zhongshan City and the Nantou Town Chamber of Commerce jointly released the White Paper on Civil and Commercial Mediation Work of the Mediation and Litigation Coordination Workstation of Zhongshan Nantou Chamber of Commerce, promoting the“Court+ Chamber”mediation model across Guangdong Province.
